Getting back into the Hobby

Nick is correct that anemone is probably not going to make it. Your tank is not stable enough and the anemone is not in the best health. Collectors will stick them in the dark as they sell much better white than when they are tan/cream as they should be.

Well this isn't my first tank, I had from a 125 down to a 22 gallon saltwater tanks before. A 125 Reef, 90 gallon Aggressive saltwater with a 12" diameter carpet Nem in it. I have had Anemones before and never had an issue. Nick didn't say it was probably not going to make it, He said that "The anemone seems to be in good shape. Take care of your water and it'll do well. Sebae are generally hardy anemone but often get bleached during shipping". It is doing well and eating also. It was white when I bought it. Since it has moved and seems to be staying put, It had turned from white to a tan/cream in color.

Wow! I would love to see a pic of it now it is all settled in and doing well.

But an new tank is a new tank doesn't matter how many you have had. It takes 1.5 to 2yrs for a tank to mature and 6-8 month to be stable enough to safely put an anemone in. Do people do it and get away with it? Sure. But depending on how you look at the livestock in your tank depends on what risks you are willing to take.

Kind of a bad pic with my camera phone but you can see it has changed color to tan/cream color. It's defiantly not the Bright white it was before in a previous pic

Very nice!
I will be following your progress. Nice to see a couple of Worcester county peeps here. :)

I would suggest getting rid of the peachy palys...they will overrun a tank quickly. TRUST ME! THEYRE THE DEVIL.
