Few opinions needed:

Water, sand, and cycled LR put in last night. Got a wavermaker today. My only complaint with Red Sea is fish jump. My last one I made the screen top. This tank is in the business office and needs to look as classy as possible.

1Anybody know of any pre-assembled mesh tops for this tank? Also my office gets hot there is already a lot of equipment including an ApC backup so dont want a chiller maybe some clean looking PC fans they will be hidden anyway.

2. I want a better skimmer bits it's tight. I was looking at that white ghost one. Any recomendations? A store advised an HOB. Never no way especially in the office!

Thanks in advance

Is this the new 170? Are you using the rear sump and stock skimmer or do you have the sump underneath?

I haven't started using the skimmer yet because I'm going to use the one underneath the auto top off is a very simple setup I actually like it because there's nothing mechanical about it to fail it just a ball valve however, if I don't loosen the ball valve no water comes out so I loosened it one full turn and that seems to give it enough drips but just not enough if I do another turn it seems to give it too much so I'm not sure if I'm missing a piece that's supposed to go on there or something but something isn't right
