Guaging interest in a Yankee Frag/Wine holiday party

I was throwing around an idea about having a get together, in trying to come up with ideas I though hmmmm wine and frags...everybody LOVES frags and I like wine

OK here is what I am thinking.

I have access to a beautiful clubhouse here on the grounds where I live in Nashua, They only charge $80 for 4 hours or so. They have a room that will hold about 40-50 people with a kitchenette and even a fireplace. I was thinking the frags would be free and everybody could bring a few frags from there system and a bottle of there favorite wine. One thing about the frags though is there would be no money charged for any of the frags.

I think this would be a great time to get together for the holidays and chat about reefing and even leave with a nice frag from another member.


Oh yea! forgot to mention I would like to keep tis an adult only gathering since there is wine involved.

That would be sweet! I think we would need a mininum of 35 people to make it worth anything reserving the hall.

Well kinda, in a poll you can't make any less that 2 choices and sinceI was looking for a # of poeple interested I figured that was the best solution.

Yup evening for sure, when we get enough interest I will have the wife call to find out the open dates.

Diare had a great idea turning it into a yankee swap

Everybody could bring some frags and I will have people pick a number ut of a hat and either # the frags or make it a potluck drawing

It will be really fun along with trying different types of wine
