fragging a maze brain

Got a quick fragging question. I have a blue maze brain and I just noticed a small section on the right side where there is some exposed skeleton. all other corals in the tank look great. Should I frag off the skeleton section and if I do what should I use?

I suggest....
Give it a coral dip in lugols & then put underwater epoxy putty over the exposed area while covering at least 1/4 inch over the exposed area...
