The BRS chem lab (gotta hand it to these guys for volunteering their time to help out the rest of the club, basically missed the whole thing for the sake of helping out other members)...

No problem at all... Betsy and I had fun and it kept us from spending all our money...
I am a newbie and this was my first meeting. My fiancée and I had a great time meeting and talking to everyone. A very nice member even gave us a couple of frags to get started on our reef tank. Thank you all so much for the warm welcome. Gary & Amanda
well unfortunately I work on saturdays also. Well this is only because I still go to college and I work part time to pay the bills so I really have no choice. I will be graduating in December which means a real job so soon enough I will finally have the weekends off which will give me opportunities to actually get to some of these meetings.
Ooh, that's a bummer Robby (BTW, sorry for spelling your name wrong earlier), both Sats and Sundays.:: At least that will end soon.
What a nice meeting yesterday.
I agree with the statement above we should think about having this be a yearly event, maybe invite another club or two.
Any way thanks to every one who helped put this together.
Thanks to Dave and Gina Mcreeferson I got a super deal on a pink paly frag from them. I agree with the statement above we should think about having this be a yearly event, maybe invite another club or two.
We have many things on the table for the next year as over the last 2 year we have worked extensively on straightening out and simplifying the day to day of the BRS. This in turn has free up the BOD to work on bringing more new things as well as some long desired gaols to the group. That has already started to show itself this year. We have already talked to the future club leaders of Swam about doing this again. We are hoping to continue to do more intergroup events.
Dave & Gina as well as myself didn't make the trip to New Jersey for the fun of it. We made some good contacts and hopefully laid the ground work for some great things to come for the future of the BRS.
No I had a great time both days met alot of new people and got to chit chat with some people I haven't seen for awhile. Then I was up until 2:00am dipping corals. What he said.I agree, I think this coming year is going to be great for the BRS....although, I think it's pretty great already.
Are you saying you didn't enjoy the pleasure of our company?::I had a great time....well, I got to sleep, you and David did not (sorry). It was a great trip, I love that stuff and I love meeting everyone....geez, I finally got to meet Anthony Calfo, what a nice guy BTW and an excellent speaker. I bought a bunch of great frags from Dr. Mac (new frags, yay!), met some nice reefers, it was a great trip, a bit of a ride, but great. Oh and we got to chat with our buddie Greg, can't forget that!
anyone know were the water testing results are posted from today?
The results from the water tests performed at this past meeting were hand-written and left for collection with everyone's water samples.
If anyone didn't get their results, PM me
~Betsy
PS - I'm very happy to have volunteered - as Dave said, it kept me from spending my moving money![]()
I had a great time. It was worth it lugging all that water. Met some very nice people and saw some regulars too. And it was only a half an hour from me. That was cool too! I know. I know. Don't get used to it!
Thanks to both clubs for getting this together.
Delta you have my vote!![]()
