Is there such a zoo or paly that is deep water? If there is it doesn't look like any of those...I can assure you that...

Not really sure...just all of the sudden every vendors started marketing Japanese deepwater zoas....wonder how deep they really are. Since we're not there to collect them guess we'll just have to take their word for it.

I said Nah as well. They didn't do much for me and my guess is significantly overpriced now that they are stamped Japanese Deep water.

I find Zoo's are one of the corals that look great in a macro photo but looking at a tank they are easy to miss if not pointed out.

I got some in today and they are getting dip and treated at the moment. So far they look pretty good. I will post some pictures later once they get out of QT.

Methinks I smell a marketing ploy, nothing more... The Japanese deep-sea zoanthids seem to be very different from what we keep- they're not colonial, and don't look terribly flashy....

(If, of course, there are other deep-sea Japanese zoas, I could be wrong.)

Hi Bob, when I started this thread I already paid for them already. Just wanted to see what people taste are. As for me I just wanted to see them personally to get first hand experience what they really look like instead of just seeing pictures and then base comments from that. I will post some pictures up when I get some time.
