1 finnex controller w/2 heater tubes?

Anyone use 1 finnex controller (can handle up to 1000w) for more then one smaller tube (not to exceed 1000W).

Just wondering if there is any problem with this. I have heard of many people doing it.

I have asked the manufacturer and he said not to, but he would cause he wants to sell more controllers.

I use a finnex with only one tube, but does anyone know how to lengthen the probe? I have found it to way too short and that limits usage ...

Ditto that! I have to mount it so close just to get it in the sump at a decent depth and still the suction cup falls off! It is a very accurate heater though. Can the probe be glued onto a glass sump?
