3D printed UV mounting clamps?

Hi everyone. I just purchased the 57watt Aqua Uv Sterilizer. Was on my way to buying the clamps that BRS sells until I found out it was 60 bucks?!?! For a 3d printed part is crazy. Was wondering if anyone has ever made their own and could share a file? If not, I’ll make some and can share with anyone interested.

Any other recommended ways of securing these sterilizers?

I am using 2 of these to hold up my larger unit but they make many sizes. Didn't you have a uv?

A couple years ago i just upsized a pipe clamp 3d file, there are plenty of files avalible on-line.

I use this stuff to hold up my plumbing, this might not be enough by itself but combo it up with @Spaceman idea and I’d say it’s pretty bullet proof.

Replacing jebao for aquauv. Jebao burnt out within months. It came with integrated mounting

99% sure the smaller pipe diameter is 2" but ill measure when i get home.

You can use click it style clamps too an like these. I bought the uv printed ones in the past with the adjustable and thumb screws which ultimately broke. I'll see if I can get a link or something them later.

Whoops, we couldn't find that.

This is what I used for mine, 57W and 25W have the same PVC body. They also work on mounting the ballast. I believe HD/Lowes sells them a little cheaper, but you can use the Grainger dimensions for reference.

The one that @zedxplorer has are great too - I use those to hang PVC plumbing from the extruded aluminum stand crossmembers. I got my clamps years ago from BRS on closeout.

It’s in the image above I attached - 2 45/64” or 69mm. Also measured circumference as 22cm. Recalling high school geometry (although lost a few brain cells since then) diameter is 7cm. But need to allow for tape measure thickness so 69-70mm works.

Is yours a pentair Uv?

I used a 2.5" max clamp on mine and confirmed that diameter is correct. Mine is a 25W AquaUV upgraded to a 57W. PVC body should be the same.

Nope - it’s the 57w Aqua UV. Maybe the slightly different sizes were different factories over the years (metric vs imperial standard)? Regardless, 2.5” clamp covers all bases.

2” clamps fit 2.5ish inch OD of pipe
