looking good shane! does the room smell like corals? haha
It reeked after I drained the tank, all the anthalia on the sides of the tank I scraped out afterwards, NASTY just Nasty
Glad it was so nice out today I cracked the windows a bit

My skimmer going nuts since the switch, its all the way open and still overflowing. Is it going through a breakthrough again? I soaked everything in vinegar for hours. Any suggestions? I have it draining right back into the sump otherwise it would drain all the water out in a few hours.

Could you drop the water level a little in the sump until it breaks in? It should help with the overflowing.

I can just raise it up a little. I kept it the same depth as it was in my previous sump. Anything to help tho. Thanks for the help

Ok so I let the skimmer run all night and day today, when I got home........Frothy goodness!!!

Looks really good. I am oh so jealous of these basement sumps. I guess maybe its a good thing I am limited by being on the second floor! Keep up the good work.

Looks great, I'm definitely tagging along.

Do you think there will be a temp problem in the sump without insulation? I was thinking, you could make a frame with panels around the sump and wedge in some insulation inbetween.

Looks awesome!

Thanks for the compliments guys. The room is fully finished and heated so the insulation issue shouldn't be too bad. I just have to cut a hole in the side of the wall outside so I can set up my fan humidistat removal fan. I hate cutting major things but it be worth it in the long run.

wow awesome build!
