I received a free used Trigger sapphire sump that has a crack in the bottom. I am going to try and repair it and it I can't I haven't lost much since I have the glue and acrylic sheets.
The cracks on the bottom are slightly offset and not level. I was curious what everybody's thoughts would be if I warmed up the crack put glue in the crack and then put flat wood and add weight I side the sump to try and flatten them?
Obviously if I can safely flatten the crack it would make for a much stronger repair with the sheets of acrylic.
