Advise Needed On Anemone Injury

My GBTA got sucked up a bit in the powerhead and has some damage to the side and tenticles.
It almost looks likes he's melting.
Still moving around in the tank but looks like crap.
I know he is more than likely going to die from the injury but trying to save him.
What are some signs I should be looking for now or just remove him?

Turning into goo= done. Most anemones survive and do fine after a mechanical injury like this though. Lots don't make it, but if it was healthy going in, your odds are better than half.

GBTA are tough as nails. Give it sometime I bet it will surprise you.

How is the mouth looking? A gaping mouth would concern me a bit, especially if you begin to see viscera(long-ish white filaments coming from the mouth) Is the foot mainly intact? This is very important as well to the anenome's overall health. If the anenome appears to be melting or "falling apart" then I would discard it ASAP as it will foul the water quite quickly. If the latter happens I suggest running some fresh carbon and doing a substantial water change.

In the past when I have had this happen I moved the anenome to the refugium with a slightly lower flow than the DT and made sure it got plenty of light. If it attaches itself this is a good sign and may have a good chance of recovery. Good Luck

Well he resting in heaven now. Came home and found pieces of him floating around. Leason learned here to make sure those power heads are covered up.
Out he came and now doing water change.
Anyone getting rid of one cheap LMK.
