advise needed plumbing sump

I've got an oceanic ultimate series 215g tank.i just bought a proclear 400 sump for it,also bought a red sea ocean clear canister filter for it because the wife wants nice clear and clean water,and an external pump for it.What i need to know is how to plumb this thing correctly.Thanx in advance for any help.

I guess I'd ask if it's reef-ready (assume it is), how many overflows, and then ask what you want to keep in it.....

It has two overflows and i plan on putting a skimmer inside the sump which will be no big deal.Also i will maybe someday if needed add a phos reactor which is also no big deal.Also it is going to be a fish only tank for now.

I have no idea how to even begin to plumb something like that but I have to tell ya im very interested in seeing the finished product! Keep us posted with photos! I love this kinda stuff!

whatever you do when you plumb it..make sure you had a few Y's with ball/gate valves on the return or overflow pipe so that when you want to add these things you can easy

unless you are just going to put them in your sump..but i woudln't with the amount of room you probably will have just go external..more room for macroalgea to grow in your sump
