Anybody ever clean sand?

I have a few hundred lbs of southdown play sand that I would like to clean. dry and put in storage. I was thinking of rinsing it very well, soaking it in a dilute bleach/ water and drying it in the sun before putting it in 5 gal buckets.

i just cleaned about 25lbs oof it...i dont know about a few hundred...but i just posted a thread a bout 3-4 days ago with a link in it to show you how to clean it

there ya go...plus some dialog between me and greg...I didn't bleach it..i just sifted using a net to get out all the debri and left over the fine sand...worked perfect, my sand it white and dry...will be inserting back into the tank today.

Rinse, "dry", store. No chemicals such as chlorine.
