Anyone interested in NSW delivered?

Ray

frrrrunkis
I am going to start collecting NSW to use in my tanks and a couple of other people I know and I was wondering if there is enough people interested in it?
I can carry 200 - 300 Gallons at a time, sorry more then that and my truck will be overloaded.
Let me know if you are interested and for how much and how often

Ray, you going to head towards NH? I won't use it all the time but.... every so often I would like some.

I'm interested, I've been thinking of doing this myself. But I need a way of transporting the water. I think if I buy a truck (I have an SUV) I could then load 55g barrels in & pump it in & out. I have a 55g barrel, 120g tub & 150g tub for storage right now (eventually sumps for new tank).
I think maybe 55g at a time would be all that I would need.
Peabody is a little far North for me
BRS needs to buy a tanker truck :D

I'm definitely interested.
I'd use ~200 gallons to start my system.
I'll be in October. Can you do it?

Definately interested

I'm interested.
I do 20g water change every weekend, between the 2 tanks.

I was talking to Steve at Cape Maid Farms the other day and mentioned that I changed to NSW, he told me it's very common in Florida (his ex home) to have sea water delivered. It was news to me, I'm sure others are aware.

I'd buy 25 gallons about every other month if the price was reasonable. For small orders (like mine), perhaps you could bring a 300 gallon load to BRS meetings, and then pump it into the containers your NSW customers bring with them.

ok I can start after Macna weekend. As for the price I will have to find a good price I can charge all year long, maybe it will seem a little high in the summer but definatly low in the winter. The other thing I was thinking of is should I put the cost into the delivery or charge say a small delivery charge?
Does anyone have any input on prices they have herd or seen?
Prices I was thinking would be, X amount delivered, X amount plus a delivery charge and the prices could be less if over a specific gallons.

I'm interested, but the ammount would depend on the price and wether you're comming this far north. What about working somthing with a LFS so you could drop it off there rather than going all over to deliver?

BTW did you ever ask your dad about the electrical?

I was thinking something like that. That and maybe I could do all the NH people at once, one day and maybe split a small delivery fee, maybe make it 2 bucks each that way it would cover the gas up there
I thought he called you on the electrical, sent you a PM

Is it true that only the NSW from deep sea (where is far away from shore) is suitable?
Also, I found NSW in Petco for $10 per 5 gallon. Is that stuff in Petco any good?

Thanks

Not sure where the stuff if from in Petco but it is basicly the same stuff.
As for where to collect, I have read alot and talked to a lot of people and there are so many spots on shore to collect from. Also one of the nicest tanks I have seen gets its NSW from a boat ramp! He said he collects whenever, high, low, incoming, outgoing and even with boats in the water running (not that I would do that)
The water I collect will be from one of a few spots on the incomming tide and I am also thinking of running carbon in it for some time before delivery

Sounds very nice. Please let me know when you came up with a price tag.
