Anyone on North Shore have fish trap I can borrow?

Like the tittle says I'm in need of borrowing a fish trap to catch a PITA fish that keeps shooting into the rockwork when I try to catch him I can throw you a few bucks or give you an IOU on some frags in the future...

I don't have one, but the LFS I go to rents one out for $7. It's Aqua Addicts in Salem, NH. Looks like it's about an hour's drive for you though. I'll be going up there this weekend if you'd like me to pick it up and you can come by Lowell, MA and pick it up from me.

take an empty 2 liter soda bottle & cut off the top portion, about 1/3 of the bottle, cut off the neck & invert that piece into the remaining bottle, (big enuff for said fish to swim thru) place irresistable food in bottle, cut 2 small holes in main body & suspend string thru them & outside of tank, wait patiently & vigalently till fish swims in and BAM u got him, worked for me with nuisance hippo tang!

Sounds like a stock list (go buy your own materials based upon a list provided by the club) and demo for a meeting to me (actually assemble it at the meeting)....

just a thought. Cheap bottle works too. Think outside the soda bottle.

This method works like a charm. Caught 3 damsel fish in about 20 min. All I did is starve the tank for a few days add garlic to the food turkey baste it through one of the holes and bam!!! They cant find their way out of the bottle.
