Black spots on clowns

Clowns have developed a few black specks each over the last week or so. Other fish look ok. I have two oce clowns, a yellow tang, a royal gramma and a scooter blenny. Rest of tank is some various LPs and a rbta. They seem fine, swimming around and eating very well. Any ideas? Lfs told me it sounds like my frogspawn or hammer stung them, but I'm skeptical.

I can text a pic to anyone that can post it.

I'm losing sleep assuming the worst...

Mine had black spots when they were small and another reefer told me it was from the zoos they were hosting, they don't have them any more but maybe became ammune

Could be black ick but doubtful if nothing new has been added to the tank and if they look heathy and are eating, when clowns try hosting new corals sometimes they do get stung and will usually leave black spots, I'd watch them and see if they are trying to host anything that they normally don't

My clowns have slowly developed black spots on them too. They are a pair of misbar percs... I stopped worrying about it a while ago but now they look silly with all those spots lol...

Happen if your clown host an anemone ... One of my clown got that all over her body but my wild caught me doesn't .. Just normal
