Haven't really noticed any difference on this tank but saw a huge difference in flow on my 20g frag tank that doesn't really have any obstacles in the way.

wow looks awesome! what are your alk, ca, and mag params?

Alk 8-8.5dkh
Calcium 420-430ppm
mag 1550 ( high right now but starting to come back down) I had a little bryopsis a few months ago that I used Kent mag supplement to raise mag and it worked like a charm as many others have reported. Bryopsis was gone in about 4 days and has never come back. The one thing I always found strange was even though all my tanks are connected, I only ever saw that algae in the 40b.

thanks for the info. I like to ask people's params when i find a tank that i like and yours are pretty much where mine are but those colors look awesome! Maybe it's the 40B lighting...closer to windows maybe?

It does get about an hour of direct sunlight every morning, looks quite different in that light!
