Carbon from any old pet store ???

Besides having to rinse the crap out of it , any other issues ? I need to get some in a hurry I think , so might go grab some

Carbon brand doesn't matter it's all the same. It's esentiall charcoal doesn't really go bad. Rinse and let it run. Best of luck.

As long as it is carbon you'll be fine. Just be sure it wasn't open/exposed to anything that could've contaminated it. I'm assuming you mean will any carbon do the job, not will old carbon do the job, right?

This is not entirely true. Because carbon of how molecules bond to carbon it could absorb from the air if it was exposed to a bunch of junk. That said I would guess it would have to be exposed to some pretty bad air for a very long time. But I'm not a chemist. Edward and dong are though

I like BRS Rox just because of how quickly it rinses.

Petco has been selling a peletized carbon(rox 0.8 carbon is just peletized carbon) recently for pretty cheap I think it's a 1.0 sized
