Common for a cleaner shrimp to snack on a snail?

I had a couple stomatella snails make thier way into my tank. I just caught my skunk red handed, making a late night snack out of one. I thought they were rather cute but now it's rather dead.

Will the skunk eat these alive?

The cleaner shrimps love eating dead or half dead stuff. If you have a clam or anything that is injured, the cleaner shrimps will peck at it and end their misery. at least IME

I've never seen a cleaner eat anything alive. Seeing a cleaner or peppermint shrimp, or nassarius snail eating something is a pretty reliable way to tell that something is dead or very nearly dead. I think they are purely scavengers, IME.
