DIY durso standpipe.

Don't cement the duroso parts, you'll want to be able to take them apart, and they don't need to seal perfectly, the worst thing that will happen is the overflow box will drain when the power goes out.
The elbow should be near the top of the overflow box. By not cementing anything you can experiment with the height once you get everything running.
Oatey cement and primer from HD/lowes is fine, just let it dry all the way. Use cement on the (non threaded) fittings outside of the tank, but before cementing anything be sure to plan in "unions" strategically so you can take the plumbing apart in the future. You'll inevitably need to take it apart for cleaning or some sort of modification some day.

Tip, sand the cut edge on the pipe to round it off before test fitting the parts. The sharp edge will make it harder for the parts to go together, and even harder to get them apart. Also cut the pipe as square as possible for a good fit. A mitre box, or mitre saw work well. (just don't get your fingers too close with a mitre saw)
Also, be very careful when putting the pipe into, or removing it from the bulkheads, if you lever against the glass you'll have a lot of leverage and it will be easy to crack the glass. I usually loosen the bulkheads and only tighten them when the plumbing is figured out.

Don't cement anything that's going to be inside the overflow, even that part. The reducer fitting does exist, it's just a matter of finding it. It's amazing how elusive a little fitting like that can be. IIRC lowes usually has them, but I can't say for sure.
