too many gadgets to fail
Randy, I've experienced it in my system almost two years ago. I also read it somewhere after I experienced it. (I will have to try & dig it up) It happened after I overdosed ozone because I had a bad orp probe.( over 100ppm off after calibration) My orp reading was at 430mv & with the bum probe it was really over 500mv. I sterilized the tank & if for not catching in a little more than a day I would have wiped out my entire system. I had some fallout over the next few months after, but with multiple small water changes daily I was able to stabilize & have minimal loses. I don't know if it is a chemical reaction caused by the change of bromide into hypo bromide. But I beleive that is what I read. I'll try & dig it up tonight.
