Thanks guys. Its a Bio-Orb 16 gallon.
That's some of your GSP in there Dave
It's been a fun project, I love nano's.
I have some scarp acrylic from my sump/fuge build that
I think I'll be using to build a 3g pico that'll utilize LED's.
I was originally going to use the Tri-emiters but I was worried that my heat-sink wasn't large enough, so I played it safe. With the current heat sink/fan there is no heat that I can feel on it after running 9 hours. next time I will definitely go with the Tri-emiters.
Thanks for the reply, exactly what I needed to know. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to do the 1s or the 3s yet, but I heard the Endor Rebel's are noticeably brighter. I think it's time to get a group buy going to get the cost down on them
I used a 17 watt driver for LED's. I think for a "lunar light" these LED's can be overkill. I used the simple and much easier to use;
Current USA Lunar Light/Link— Nocturnal Blue for my 55g. Its just a moonlight..
Sweet, I'm sure you've checked into some of the amazing JBJ LED projects on nano-reef. Any ideas on what you'll be using?
Post some pics when your done..
Oh here we go again... now Jeff's going to be all LED talk again in the chat room )http://www.chatzy.com/840269223550 password "jaredquits" hit join chat button at bottom)
