Hey everyone,

Figured I would share this with all the do it yourselfers. I haven't fully finished the design yet but wanted to show the concept works. The video is of my first test. Hope this sparks off some other ideas for you.

it looks like my four room mates after a tough night drinking, JK. that is actually a pretty good idea, and if you could make some type cover, it would be pretty good. You might have to do something with the motor, im sure it was just to try out the theory. Good Luck with it.

That's awesome nice work. Instead of a screwdriver you could get a cheap electric motor from radio shack. And use a potentiometer to adjust the spin of the motor.

thats really cool. maybe you could modify a mag drive to work as your pump.

pretty cool My wife would never let me run something that loud though.
I have a homemade bucket flusher that makes some gurgling noises that is more than she can handle already.

Well the latest motor that I have tried was a K'nex toy motor. Its geared for a low rpm and makes almost no sound. And instead of using batteries I just rewired it to run with an universal ac adapter.

Just to add in from the original build to seal the rotational parts was a faucet stem. (just a warning if you try this. Some of the stems have a thin metal spacer that needs to be removed)
