Drying live rock

If I dry out all my live rock will it kill all the calurpa and aiptasia on the rocks? I am setting up a new system so I wanted to dry it out and use it like base rock. And if I can do this what would be the best way

I killed one rock that i really really hated by doing this. I put some bleach in a bucket of water and let it stay there for a few hours, scrubbed it, then dried it. Put it in a bucket of clean water and some Prime, and it was all set If it's a lot of rock, i dont think this would work out as swell as you may plan.... How come you dont just buy some new rock?

LMK what you have, I was looking to make the aquascape look something like this and would not mind cherry picking some nice rock.

I agree with what everyone is saying with the bleaching, drying, soaking/scrubbing. But If you dont get all the organics off, you'll need to cure it. Can't go wrong with fresh rock!
