Hey everyone, it's been a while since I have posted or really been on here at all. In fact I was getting pretty burned out with the hobby all together. I love my biocube but I couldn't keep the parameters in check. It would get hot in the day, cold at night, corals would come and go, and running out of RO water seemed to happen a bit, plus with work, I would have trouble with water changes. The biocube was great but hopefully a larger tank will be easier to maintain.
The tank is in but I haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully over the weekend that will happen. I went with the Cadlights Artisan 50g cube with the sump it comes with. I upgraded the skimmer to a Tunze 9410. Right now I have 1 MP10W but will be adding a second before the livestock. Lighting will be an AI Hydra 26 and I will have 40-50 lb of Fiji Pink live sand and I have 90lb of rock to work with and I will use about 65lb of it.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures up once everything is here and in the process of getting set up. I have a fish list saved and if I recall it all its a pair of clowns, a yellow assessors basslet, flame angel, mystery wrasse, McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, and most likely a mandarin. I think that would be plenty of fish for the tank.
Once it's all set up in just hope things go better with this one than the biocube. Can't wait to post pictures as it all evolves!
