Glass canopy reduce UV ?

Like the title says, I'm curious because if it does reduce the UV I was thinking of turning up the intensity on my Kessil.

Yes it does. But your Kessil has very little UV in it.

Depend on the model, some Kessil has no UV in it at all.

It's great for my 30gallon breeder. Should I worry that the corals aren't getting enough lighting with the canopy on.

It depends on the wavelength which the diode or t5 is. Most t5's like ATI, give you wavelength graphs to see what frequency that there particular lamp hits!

360 has a tiny 380 mm peak for uv. Nothing to worry about.

I talked to Kessil today they said that I should be fine but if I want to i can always bring the arm down a few inches.

I removed the canopy today to if there was a difference in the coarls and there was. My corals where a little more open without the canopy I was just a little worried that my fish would jump.

Glass canopy do block some light. If keep clean, the light loss is small.
