Glass Cleaner

I am having a hard time finding good glass cleaner for the outside of my tank. I have been using Windex Wipes but they leave a white residue. I tried the ones for Electronics and I got the same thing.

What do fellow reefers use?

I now use vinegar. Safer for the fishes.

I use the Kent glass cleaner. May be over priced but it has worked great for me.

Razor blade and a clean rag also work

I use vinegar as well. No windex, very bad if that gets in the tank!

I just use a wet paper towel followed by a dry one. Never had any issues and my 3 yo leaves plenty on the glass for me to clean up.

Same here, paper towell soaked in RO water, wipe down and then wipe dry with fresh towell.

yup two step process first wash with vinegar then buff with dry ragg works great.

Is there a reason to use RO water instead of tap?

I still use windex. I just do not spray it directly on the tank, i wet a paper towel with it then wipe down the tank.

RO + two towels and maybe a few breaths to fog the glass and buff.
