Group buy for dry rock from Marco?

I see that there are a few people looking for dry rock, as well as me. Is anyone interested in getting a group together and driving to Marco's for a group buy? He is getting in 5000 pounds ( i think thats what he said).

All of my rock is small and round which makes aquascaping ugly and difficult. My husband and I went driving around yesterday to try and find some large flat pieces but to no avail. I don't need it live because I've got plenty of live rock and I'll just move some of it into the sump. But I really want some large flat pieces... need to get happy with the placement before I get any corals so my husband will stop disturbing my tank. Would the rock you guys are talking about be good for this?

Yes, it matches your description very well. If you drive down to Marc's location, I bet he'll let you pick thru and take the sizes you're looking for. He has offered some really huge pieces in the past.

Hey everyone ..Thanks for the interest.
I don't have a confirmed delivery date for the new shipment yet but I know it should be in the next week or so. Just as soon as I have that info I'll come up with a quantity and price break. Timing should be just right to put together some interest, commitment then a delivery date and time.

if I drive a hour or so to the cape or a hour to boston, its still an hour.
if I understand this correctly, if I drive to boston it will cost me more for the same rock?
