Guaging interest in a Yankee Frag/Wine holiday party

get the hall
it's a clubhouse ("hall" just sounds so cold hunny) & it's cozy......it has a fireplace that we can use if we like (just have to bring our own wood) & small kitchen w/ fridge, oven, microwave.
would be nice if people would also bring some homemade appetizers, chips & dip, etc...
& any DJs in the house willing to mix some CDs???

What kind of music do you think you'd like? Rock, Jazz? Christmas? Acoustic stuff? I may be able to make up some CDs depending on what you want.

Okay I may be interested in coming but dont have anything to trade at the moment. I am up for getting a gift certificate for like $25 to LFS or just not participate in the swap..... Or I suppose I can go buy a frag of something and trade it.. lol what do you think? I am just up for the wine and fire!!!!!

All of above with the music would be great! I can bring one of our cd playersover there no problem. Nancy and I have a pretty large collection of music cd's also.
I will probably just # the bags and draw #'s as you noted, much easier and I don't want to break up any fights
I think a gift certificate would be an awsome idea in lieu of a frag

Only dates that are available now are Jan. 13,20 & 27 and I think that would be a little late for a holiday party right?
This month is no good either with the meeting and Thanksgiving.
Not sure what to do now I'm super bummed!

Bummer, Kevin. I just got off the phone with Princeton Station restaurant in North Chelmsford. I inquired about a room. Here's an option, but I need input:
The room holds up to 75-80
We can get
an appetizer buffet ($14 pp, plus tax & gratuity)
or a dinner buffet ($15 pp, plus tax & gratuity)
They need a $200 deposit, but it will be deducted from the bill.
Dates available:
Dec 2 and 9 - Saturday - 11:30-4:30
Dec 3 and 10 - Sunday - all day
It might not be what you had in mind, but at least we'll still be able to have it in Dec.

Nice idea but I kinda wanted it to be an small in-expensive event. Cindy mentioned there is a nice place over by her in Windham that was nice, I asked her to check availabilty on Dec. 9th since everybody seemed to like that date. If that doesn't work maybe I will just plan it for Jan. 13th here and call it a after holiday Yankee frag/ wine party
