Nice pics Steve, going to buy a dremel this weekend during 'no sales tax weekend', and then try it on a new 6025 I bought yesterday @ CRA.

So Jay, did you do the mod this weekend? I've checked out Steve's here and in the RC thread and seems promising for the most part. I have a 6045 & 6025 and might want to mod the 6025.

With this mod does it widen the flow? I need something that will flow all the way across the tank and not die out. Will this do it?

As long as you don't shorten the external barrel the flow doesn't widen.

Removing the barrel inside makes a big difference on the 6025 (so far)

I'm going to do the full blast (slits on the bottom) and wide flow (shorten the barrel) tomorrow at Gustavo's. We're going to run the cover through his table saw with the acrylic blade on it for the full blast, then cut the nose off to do the wide flow one.

I'm doing the wide flow one because the 92 has a max distance of 3 feet, so I don't need it to reach all that far.

The second 6025 I'm going to do is the primary PH in my 72, so that's getting the full blast, but not the wide flow, since it needs to reach 4 feet....

I am modding a 6025. I like it so far and really don't want to mod it further. but I want to do the wide flow mod, and in doing so i will need to do the full blast mod to get the extra umph it will lose. I am saving the rest of my mods for the meeting so I can show people what to do. I have at least 1 more to fully mod, maybe 2-4 more others to do as well.

also how much more flow do you think you got out of the fullblast mod?
