Help; tell me I am wrong

for anyone following, SG holding steady at 1.016 and I think I will leave it there for right now, most of the fish appear to be doing better even the Blue Hippo tang that I thought was dead until I tried to pick him up Sunday night and moved was out eating today. The cowfish is just as covered with spots and splotches but has more color and a little more active he never stopped eating so he is a fighter for sure. My Porc puffer although not 100% ate Brine shrimp and a 1/4 of a shell on shrimp soaked in garlic so that was nice to see.
My Dogface puffer is the one I am worried about now, he did eat but was sleeping and went right back to sleep after he ate, yes he still eats pretty well. his colors are dull though and his eyes are cloudy and he just seems puffy and still quite a few spots but the scariest is the labored breathing. I did a fresh water dip on the Blue Hippo tang, it is only like 2" for 9 minutes Sunday night when I thought there was no hope and she has had a miraculous recovery but am not ready to put Buddy through that yet. Anyone ever fresh water dip a DF puffer? good idea or not?

Things are looking up and looking forward to a night off ;-)

Still looking good, another night and no more losses Salinity holding steady at 1.017. Even the dogface seemed less puffy looking. Such a goofy fish, a new sleeping spot everynight this time he made a sorta hammock for himself with one of the power cords from a power head, he was looking very content this morning.
Nitrates seem to be going up a bit though I did not expect die off at this salinity level and skimmer has stopped skimming, which I did hear when you go hypo they might but thought I was still high enough that it should work but I do have less fish now :-( and all the critters I could find are out as well and safely in another tank so not to much waste I would guess.
Hope things stay or get better until I get the new QT tank setup. Bought a 90 non reef ready last night picking it up this weekend so hopefully we can go full Hypo soon and get this eradicated.
