My montis seem to be dieing and I have noticed a few little creatures on them that are white and look like a very smal tick. I looked at a picture of a monti eating nudibranch and it does not look like that. It almost wiped out a digi and is doing a good job on my superman. Any suggestions on what this could be. Monti is encrusted so I can't take out.

if its not possible to remove the coral for a dip, try using small tweezers to pick the bugs off.

Andy are you sure the thing you saw was the bug and not the egg.

It did not look like and egg. It definitely looked more like a white tick. I am baffled as to what this could be. I haven't added any montis in a little while and I just noticed this starting to happen about 3 weeks ago. If it were a monti eating nudi do they normally come in on acros or would they really only be on montis. I have also been treating new sps with the tropic marin coral dip prior to introducing in my tank.
