How long do you run your lights

What lights are you running and for how long?

Right now I am running 2x250 Watt MHs for 11 hours a day but I am going to be adding actinics and possibly cutting down the MHs a little.
Should I run the actinics al day or is it ok just to run them for a few hours in the AM and a few in the PM overlapping the MHs to give the dusk/dawn

According to the Aquacontroller:
8:30A PCs ON
9:00A MHs ON
7:00P MHs OFF
7:30P PCs OFF

So that's 10h for the MHs, and 11h for the PCs

I have PC's, on at 1pm off at 11pm. I work late and like to watch my tank when I get home.
oops my light is a coralife 96w powerquad 50/50 (actinic 03 and 10K).

i have 250 watt de mh and run them for 10 hours. 10am - 8pm.

1 from 10:30 to 9
2 from 11:20 to 8

But I'm cutting back and dropping the2 400W to 250s.

I have a 6.5k LOA that comes on at 11am shuts off at 12:30, then the center 250w DE comes on at noon. Then the 2 outer 250w moguls come on at 1pm. At 9pm the moguls shut off. At maybe 9:30p the LOA comes back on. The DE shuts off at 10p, then the LOA shuts off at 11p
The LOA is on a manual timer, the rest are on battery backup timers. SO the LOA is not as precise, and if there is a power outage the time has to be reset

2x65W PC Actinics: 3.00 PM to 1.00 AM

I shifted my lighting schedule to late evening so that i can be home after work and if water temp gets too high then i can monitor and hopefully take some actions as i don't have any chiller.

I'm experimenting with lowering the number of hours slowly over the period of 2 months. I'll try to get it down to 6 hours.

2x175w MH, 12 hours plus 2x65w pc actinics 14 hrs. So now I"m thinking that's WAY too much?
