How to build a sump for saltwater fish tank?

Hi,

I am trying to find the information how to sump work and how to build it.
Would anyone please help to provide me the website or information how to build a sump for saltwater fish tank?

I am having 55 galons and plan to use 10g for the sump.

Andy built a nice 10 gallon sump a while back. Like the Behrmon said though, 10g might be pretty tight for a 55g.

Sump (Continued)

OK, The sump is done but there are few issues:
1. Pump to strong to pump all the wanter in the pump are causing a lot of bubble to the main fish tank. (should I add the valve between return light ?
2. How can I reduce the noise from both (Wate drain and pump) like toilet sound. See my drawing for the current setup.
