how to DIY a glass tank???Anyone?

I did a search but couldn't find any threads of DIY tank builds. Im getting the itch to upgrade my tank anywhere from a 120-180 gallon. I looked online and saw some with plywood sides and a glass front but to me that seems like an accident waiting to happen. Has anyone built one before? im just trying to see if it is worth it for me. I would just pick up a normal 120gal but id like something to fit almost flush into the wall if i would. Id like it to be 12ft wide and legnth and height doesn't really matter. I would bring out the width to 20 inches where it protrudes away from the wall a little i guess. If anyone has tried something like this and found out that its more trouble then its worth please let me know. Im on a budget so having one custom built is out of the question. Thanks for any help or direction in advance.

Can you be a little clearer on your dims, this sounds a lot bigger than a 120-180gal tank.

haha i meant 6ft long not 12. I just decided to go with a 125. probably cheaper then building one and it is 18 inches wide so it will protrude just a little.
