I’ll have to look up what I dosed per gallon I can’t remember. If your able to treat in tank that is the best way because the red bugs could have laid eggs anywhere in the tank. If not you’ll need to set up a separate tank to run for 3 weeks. Put ALL the acropora’s you have in tank to treat, even if they don’t look infested. You dose, wait 12 hours and do a 20% water change. Repeat 2 more times once a week. Need 3 treatments total. The tank I treated in was an 80 gallon frag tank, I had fish, shrimp and snails in the tank so I set up a separate tank to run for 3 weeks and put all the fish, snails and shrimp in it so they wouldn’t be harmed by the treatment. After the last treatment and 20% water change I put them back in the frag tank.

The interceptor plus pills I got were the large ones for dogs 50-100 lbs. my system is around 180 gallons and I used 1/2 a pill for each treatment. 1 pill is good for roughly 400 gallons. I cut the pill up with a knife as fine as I could and then slow mix in a little water and mush it into a paste first and then add more water before putting in tank, I dump it right into return pump inlet. If you follow the instructions here you should be fine.

It was Interceptor Plus, big brownish colored chewable dog treat that smelt like dog food. Very hard to dissolve in water, like I said cut it up as fine as you can with a knife first.

This is the stuff I used. Luckily my dog gets prescribed them from the vet anyways so I already had them on hand. Worked like a charm on the bugs I had. Completely eradicated them.
