I started my day off right. Well at least I thought I did! I started getting ready to head down to cambridge MA, to pick up a light fixture for my tank a Power Compact Coralife Aqualight, 48" 4x 65w straight pin, 6 Bulbs (260 Watts) w LEDs which I was great for a great price $100 from a one of the brs members great guy.

I didnt do my homework I don't know much about lighting so I thought these lights would be great for my 72 bow. I just got some free coral that Im maintaining in my nano tank I figured I move them over when the levels where right man was I wrong. I didnt realize that pc light fixture wouldn't cut it for corals go figure! then on my way back I dissided to stop by petsmart to pay for my dogs insurance. I noticed that they where selling a glo t-5 ho light fixture for 99.99 man this burned me up!

I could of saved myself the gas money! O'well you live and you learn right . you would think that would be the end of the story right? wrong! after I was done shopping for my new test kit and equipment for the tank at My Pet World I get home and my girlfriend wants to go to the lake to try to enjoy the rest of the day before it rains. We head out and have a good time I stop by game stop to get my xbox points because the new maps are out ! It gives me something to do right . I look in my pants pocket and guess what? I lost the wallet I cant find it anywhere and I left my rent money in there with my extra play money! So if any of you local brs members find a black wallet its mine I would like it back please! ..seriously Im pissed I hope you all are having a better day then me!

on a good note i run the 24 inch GLO 2x24 watt t5 high out put light on my freshwater tank (planted......soon) and love it!!!

i hope you find your wallet, and im glad im not the only one who plays CODMW2

You can keep some corals under the light you got, just not the demanding ones.

Hang in there. Getting going with reefing is brutal. Everyone here has had many a "learning experience" in the quest for a happy tank

Keep an eye closely on the equipment for sale forum.
Everything I have in my system except for the return pump, halide bulbs are used.
It's a great way to save money and recycle.

Im still waiting for the stupid maps to download its been 1 hr 25 mins and still no new maps??

its cool I expected as much I waited a year and half after I bought my 125 gallon to disside weather or not I would do saltwater and I know I made the right choice. I'm in it for the long haul. yeeha

2. 46 bowfront tank pc 36'' light marineland hang-on filter rated 90gals w/bio wheels heater which came with the tank
3. 20gal Sump /overflow box return pump + extra pumps for when Im mixing saltwater.
4. 30gal Sump
5. 2 Power Compact Coralife Aqualight, 48" 4x 65w straight pin, 6 Bulbs (260 Watts) w LEDs the others a 36''
6. maxi jet Powerhead MOD /kor 4watt
7. Live sand /Coral
8. More Coral
