Issue with eshopps eclipse large overflow box

Hey guys…have this on my build thread but hoping to get a little more traction.

I’ve installed my eclipse overflow box. Water level is well below the weir, yet I am still seeing water coming through the bulkheads. This can’t be normal right?

My concern is now during a power outage, my 75 gallon fuge will be draining much lower than intended.

Water level at the bottom of the box. No way it is overflowing into the internal overflow box.

Here is the water literally pouring out of the bulkheads. I would expect no water to be in the bulkheads unless the water was high enough to overflow the internal box. I can only imagine the internal box is not sealed allowing water to enter below the teeth.

Just looking for a sanity check on this before I start the return process.

I suspect a slow leak at the bottom of the internal overflow box.

If you’re considering returning take a look at Modular Marine as an option. They made me a custom one to fit the holes already drilled for another overflow. Top notch construction, excellent communication and fair pricing. I replaced an Eshopps with a Modular Marine and never looked back.

I think Fiji makes nice suff and never had an issue. Lower the level in the tank so the internal overflow is higher than the water in the tank. Wait till next morning and see if the internal box still has water in it. If it does your gasket isn't sealing between the overflow and tank. If its empty the overflow has a leak. There's no witchcraft here.
