JBJ 28 Nano Cube

The only part that was annoying was fittinh the AI hydra in place of the old lights, you need to use the wire cutters and notch out the hood on the inside and then it will fit right in

the power chord is easily fit inside the hood protected by the splash guard, I tooke the wire cutters and cut a small slit into the original power chord hole on the side of the hood so I could run the new power chord inside the hood

the only thing like I said that bugs me is the darker area in front of the rocks due to the spread or somewhat lack of, or maybe it's just me...

You can use that darker area for low light corals. Some favia's only get their awesome colors in the shade. ;)

Ur tank looks amazing!!! I got to see the light in person and it makes ur tank look great. Awesome job dude!

very nice !!! Now that I have my 90 main tank doing good running stable and clean , I am already considering a bio cube of some sort . I will keep the rocks off the glass a bit so I can clean the glass . otherwise cheato , no sump no skimmer is my plan .

Looking nice and love the rockscape. This is the first time I have had a tank this small so even after 9 years in the hobby I had some learning to do. I had a major cyano outbreak. A did a few things to fix it including shortening my lighting time a bit. I added a phosphate remover pad to the first chamber not to remove phosphate but rather to remove floating junk. It's so much different without a sump. So far so good and everything is growing like a weed. I change 5 gallons weekly.

I don't know if it is my fault but so far the skimmer I have made for the oceanic 29 hasn't skimmed a thing no matter how much I have messed with it so I think with this small of a water volume water changes are the key.

Thank you all very much, I actually have broken down this tank due to bryopsis that came in on a frag I got from an lfs, I was considering the options out there but decided to not take any chances, I put all my livestock in a 10 gallon for the meantime and I cleaned the cube tank and rocks, this weekend I'll be setting it back up, starting from scratch so it'll be a while but bryopsis free is worth the wait

I loved my original aquascape but I feel that it was too much rock for that tank so I designed a new and improved scape, once everything is up I'll post some pics
