So whos used it? and what were the results?...I plan on using it to kill mojanos, has anyone had good results with it on them?....TIA.

I use it, it works kind of. Ive better luck with it on aptasia.

it works, but I had better long term results with a kalk slurry delivered through a syringe.

The other method I have used with success (if you can move the rock) is to remove the rock from the tank and run REALLY HOT tap water over the anemones. They cook, die, and can be popped off the rock whole. If you are careful with your hot water flow, you can minimize coralline bleaching, etc. I have even done this to rocks with encrusted coral nearby (very carefully, obviously)

You could also inject boiling water directly into the anemone.

I make my own Joe's Juice using pickling lime. Works the same only cheaper.

Couldn't agree more with this statement. I've used it with success but since I switched to kalk paste/slurry I've had much more success with 1 dose and being done with them.

I use lemon juice and a needle. If possible i just glue the suckers into their own hole.

Joe's Juice is not cheap and you can make a whole bunch of alternatives. Best so far is seachem calcium. It gets REALLY hot when you mix it with water, so make a past and then use a needle to inject it. It cooks the genetic material so it can't reproduce. However calcium is also expensive, so hot water and lemon juice is my go to.

thanks for the replys I had used Kalk paste before and it worked in my old system but this time its majanos and there are at least 20 of them...and the JJ was only $8.99, however its small but how much do you really need to kill a tiny nem?....stay tuned I'm zapping in two minutes..

I have found mixing a bit of meaty food with the Kalk paste keeps the pest from closing up. I thinks the kalk is food and sometimes even eats it. But I have never had much luck with kalk paste. It seems like when the thing dies I get a bunch of little ones around it that weren't there before. I have always had luck with peppermint shrimp for Aptisa. I have never tried shrimp with monjos so I don't know if they eat them.

I just did the second round on my tank and WOW...the first time i got about 10 of them and of course i couldnt find any more when my arm was in there but noticed them as soon as i pulled it out, so just finished round 2 and all that I hit are completely gone just melted right away...I found that they didnt close up at all when first touched and I had plenty of time to rub the solution all over the oral disk....now only time will tell if they pop back up in 30 days, I'll revive this thread either way....but as of now if this thing hold them off then I highly recomend it for $10 every reefer should have a bottle..(2 treatments and the bottle is still full).....oh and along with the 20 mojanos i wacked 2 aiptasia too, same positive results..
