I have a small leak in one of my tanks at the seam. Is there a quick fix I can make until I decide what to do? Will applying glue on the outside help? It's a slow drip, but I know I have to deal with it soon. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks. I'm not too worried about it exploding. I'm more concerned that it will drip all night, and I'll have an almost empty tank in the morning. I've been lucky. The tank is probably 15 years old so it makes sense that the silicone is wearing out.Oh no! I've never had that experience but I have seen people use ratchet straps to hold things together. But be very careful. Good luck
Do you have a sump? You could always set up a funnel of some sort where the drip is falling and have it go right back into the sump so essentially you're not losing any water at all...Thanks. That's a good idea. It's very slow, but it runs off the stand in only one spot so if I can't stop it tonight, I will definitely have to recapture it.Do you have a sump?
