lighting for soft/lps tank

going to be ordering a light soon for my tank. it is a 45 gallon that is 24" deep and i will never be keeping sps corals only lps and soft. my options are a single double-ended , 150 watt or a 250 watt metal halide bulb. right now i am running 2 x 150 watt halides and it seem a bit to much because the tank looks like a UFO lol. but i am not sure....what would you choose?

well first of all i was convinced that when i started all i wanted "was a couple zoo's and maybe a leather or two", that didnt last long...........but anyways so lets say that you only want softies/lps......then the 2 150's would be good or you could go all T5 if you wanted or do both and supplement your 150's with some T5's and make those lps/softie colors really pop
