Let me give you another example I saw on another web site:

A guy was selling a halide pendant and asking for $150 (new cost over $400)
Another guy replied offering $50 and proclaimed he saw someone else was giving away the same kind of pendat for free several weeks ago and asking why the seller dared to ask for so much money.

exactly. dnt whine about people that buy aston martins and try and tell them a chevy does the same thing.

I don't want to sound rude or argumentetive, but I've posted repeatedly about my opinion here. I haven't meant that as complaint, directive, pressure or anything else, just talking about my opinion because someone else brought it up.

For me personally, some of this naming stuff has been an increasing pet-peeve (I hate that term) for various reasons, for the past few yrs. That's my problem, and I respect others differing opinions. Past that, someone was feeling something like I do and felt like talking about it. I replied because I shared a more or less similar sentiment. Nobody is making anyone else read or post in this thread. If someone started a "I love LE corals" thread, I'd probably just either leave it alone or maybe leave one post saying something like ( "I'm on the other team " )

I guess I'm just saying,
Where's the line between complaining Vs. Just talking about an opinion ?

i think it all comes down to if you have the money and like the coral you buy it. and i think having a "special" name makes it a little special to the buyer. i like the feeling of looking in my tank and knowing that particular peices came from certin people. and i know that their dedication to producing extrodinary corlas makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

dose this give ME a superior product??? Yes... i think so. and if I am buying the coral, then what dose it matter to anyone else.

It's like this " you can get a good look at a bucher, by sticking your head up.....NO wait...It's gotta be your bull..... oh man i am so Stupid"

i love that everyone has an opinion here.... that what makes this club so great. most of the time is a passionate, heated debate about stuff.

i get so involved reading all the comments i cant tear myself away from computer.....

jim, that wasnt directly at you personally. I just think that this entire 'voicing of opinion ' thread is a farce. Ive seen these threads 10 times and they always end in flames. I just dont understand why people cant just accept it for what it is.

The other thing that people really like when purchasing coral, FWIW, is an id to species. Pretty hard to do for a lot of corals, but it is possible for some.
