Live Rock Question

SCHUYLERDR

My live rock has a greenish look to it. Im not sure if its some kind of algae or if its Coraline. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you can't wipe it off or scrape it off with your fingernail it probably is coraline. i have a ton of green coraline in my tank.

I have green coraline aswell.

I have a mix or red, purple and green all over on a <2 month old tank. Though the rock was cured in a lit tub for 2+ months prior, dosed with purple up periodically. I only supplement a bit of purple up once a week now at night (the fish seem to not notice the cloudiness and freak out as much) after a water change, if that even. Once it kicks off, keeping params good and healthy seems to be plenty good enough.

I have some green coraline and pink and purple too.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I have tried to upload pics they keep telling me my pics are to big

A good, small and free resizing software package is: http://www.irfanview.com/

When you open a photo with it just hit Ctrl-R (resize) select 600x800 and Save-As a new file. You should then be able to load the new file without a problem.
