Missed It!!

Gina McReeferson

My sweet Baby David
Hey what's up,
I just spent a long while searching for reef orgs in my area (MA) and finally found this one. I have been posting on other forums and stuff but none of them are local people and as such can't point me in the direction of any good swaps in my area. Apparently from all the talk of the just passed swap I found you guys a couple days late! I was wondering if anyone could tell me the when/where/how of your next meeting/swap. I thank you all in advance, -Dave.

First of all welcome

AS for the next meeting it hasnt been annouced but will be soon enough at the top of this thread we have a meeting every month. But if you check out the market place forums you may find something you want to get now or reserve for the next meeting

Hi Dave,

fishswim.gif

To the Boston Reefers' Society!!

The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, 29Apr2006. The location has not yet been finalized, as far as I know. The meeting was originally slated to be our annual fund-raising auction, but due to competition with IMAC, the auction is probably going to be rescheduled.
If there's no auction that day, then we'll definitely have a frag swap at the end of the meeting, as usual.
See you there.

I've been here a while:confused: :D

Welcome!!
Where are you located, there are always people around looking to trade or sell frags

sup reefer?

Welcome!

Welcome to the BRS!

How did you eventually find us? If you post where you are located and what you are looking for there are often people near you who can hook you up.

Thank You

Hey,
Wow, that was quick, I like it! I am located in Gloucester, that was a really close guess though(I am guessing the sandy bay tipped you off). I am looking for deep dark blue/purple acro's and or ricordia among many other things. I am willing to travel(I have been hitting every shop I can find to help fill out my 240). I have found Sea Creatures in Lynn and Tropic Isle in Framingham to be my favorites thus far, but am always looking for new spots. I go out just about every weekend on a road trip with the wife to find new treasures, so travel won't be anything new to us. Thank you all for the welcome and the help, Dave.

Cool. Drop me a line if you head up NH way to visit Aqua Addicts and Aquarium Gallery. Those are two stores not to be missed and we're right between them.

Greetings

I agree with Flighty, both Aqua Addicts (in Salem, NH) and Aquarium Gallery (in Hudson, NH) are worth the drive.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the Boston Reefers. I live in Westwood, but have another house in Gloucester on the Annisquam River. I'm originally from East Gloucester. I also go a lot to visit my mother who is in a Nursing Home in Rockport. Let me know if I can help bring something down that you arrange with someone else.

Skipton's in Boston is a great store also. They are just off the expressway.
Once you become a member, you will get a discount at many of the sponsors.
They are all listed in the forums.

Hope to see you at the next meeting.
Tom

You should definitely take a trip down to Coral Reef Aquarium in Seekonk too. Great store, along with some of the others mentioned.

And check out Ray and Everythingreef.com in the sponsors forum - he's right in Peabody... and he delivers or meets for a pick up on 128...
