Purple Tang spotted in photo... and my chalice thought...
not too often this guys comes out when i have the camera in hand for some reason, but if i put my hand in the tank he is all over me lol... love this fish, he is incredible and has an awesome personality...
and this was a thought about a way to allow my chalices to grow comfortably, as well as keep them low in the tank, and out of the blast of the vortechs... first day they seem fine down on the bottom... i am thinking of making a custom acrylic box that measures 4" wide, by 12" long and 1.25" deep, w/ about a half inch of sand for them to rest on and grow out across... the bottom of the plugs are cut of so its jus the flat base top of the plug w/ pretty much whatever didnt come of clean of the plug shaft to anchor them in the sand... this is jus a crappy model of that, but the idea is the same... i think it could work out well when i get a couple more, they start to grow, and i move to a bigger footprint tank... which will hopefully be soon
the small paly on the tile jus to the left of the chalices is a small captain america paly that has some growing and establishing to do, so sorry, kinda looks pathetic lol...

A few of the newly mounted peices...
i mounted the green digi, monti setosa, ora pearlberry, ora green birdsnest, and the ora rose milli... i didnt feel any of the others on the frag rack were ready... i look for them to be colored up, established/encrusted, and overall jus on there way

thank you for the kind words
however, it is not a frag tank at all, it is my main display... all of the smaller peices are different and will be grown into colonies...
though my zoas need to be relocated to their own display where i can make the light and flow more appropriate for them... i am not willing to sacrifice either light or flow for the zoas/palys' benefit and take it away from my sps... this tank is strictly high flow and high light...
its jus how i choose to display my corals and be different... i do not frag my sps, aside from maybe an occasional peice for a friend or something, but that happens very rarely as i dont feel any of my corals are near fraggable size yet
