Does anyone no where I can Rotifiers so I can feed my newly hatched clown fish. I have placed in order
with Florida Aqua Farms, but won't be delivered until 7/25 I live on the South Shore willing to drive a reasonable distance to buy.
What stores could I call to see if they have it. I live in Pembroke, MA

While it's exciting to see clowns first spawn, keep in mind that once they start they will likely spawn once every two weeks for the next 10 years. I suggest you wait for the rotifers to come and get your culture going and when you are completely ready, then attempt to raise the clowns. I highly recommend Joyce Wilkerson's book as a guide.

agreed with Greg. you probably want to start growing phytoplankton as well to keep the rotifers growing.

neither raising the rotifers nor raising the phytoplankton is hard, but definitely time consuming.

we still have 2 babies from the 1 batch we raised -- they're around 3 years old now I think, and everytime we look at them it brings back the good ol' memories :) 7 buckets of rotifers and pods and plankton all over our living room haha
