I have one more spot in my car.

What time do they do the Raffle. Thinking of going with the kids but can't stay all day and they love the raffle stuff.

I wish I could go to this. I missed it last year, and this year I'll be in Florida playing golf. Which probably isn't the worst thing in the world lol.

They usually raffle off a couple ffm gift certificates every hour, but the really big raffle is at the end of the day.

If im able to attend they are taking all major credit cards? Also looking for a new return pump for my 90 and wanted to know if my best bet is to buy here as oppose to LFS?

Most of the commercial vendors usually take credit cards, although they may require a minimum purchase. A lot of the local frag farmers have the attachment that plugs into the phone or ipad, but most prefer cash. If you're just grabbing a $10/$20 frag, it's easier to have the cash.

I don't pay a lot of attention to the dry goods vendors, but I don't remember seeing a lot of pumps in the past. Every year it's different depending on who is selling, but it's mostly corals since it started as a way for hobbiests to trade/sell their frags.

Raffles for FFM gift certificates are through out the day. The big raffle is at 4pm.
Some people do the PayPal app, others do just cash. Depends on the person.
As far as dry goods go, it is hit or miss. Some of the stores bring dry goods but if you are looking for something specific, you may or may not find it.

Anyone car pooling from greater Lowell area with space?

I just got back from the school (okay, I might have slept for a few hours...) and about 1/2 the people came to set-up last night. I have to say that the stuff people brought this year, compared to previous years, is amazing. Just walking around, I saw quite a few things that I had never seen before. The only problem that I had was that I was too busy to cherry pick anything before the FFM got going! Seriously, I am positive that this will be the biggest and best FFM yet, with more set-ups, and just about all of the local clubs there to promote their events and club. Do me one last favor and tell someone about the event this morning, or just stop by their house and grab them on your way out. When you are at the FFM today, stop by and introduce yourself. I love to meet all the people that are just as crazy as I am!

I'll be manning the BRS table so make sure to come by and keep me company :D

Always a good time. I was dreaming about those maroon lightening clowns in the raffle.
Could be a sign.lol Gassing up the truck.

Is storrs = storrs mansfield the same?
CANT LOOK UP WITH JUST STORRS. IT DEFAULT TO STORRS MANFIELD. THANKS

Now that the dust has settled, for the most part, I wanted to extend a thank you to all of the vendors and attendees. The vendors this year brought the sweetest stuff I have ever seen at an FFM. They truly brought their A game and I was just sorry that I didn't get to stop and see half of them during the day. The attendees drive in from all over the Northeast, including a ton from BRS. It was also great to see the BRS have a table at the FFM and be able to promote the club and their events to the group. I appreciate you all making the trip down and hope that your ride was worth it.

On a less positive note, one of my students had a clam that he had bought taken from the greenhouse at the end the FFM. He spent all of the money that he had on this clam and someone walked off with it. I am hoping it was an accident but if anyone knows anything about the missing clam, please let me know. I don't want to see the poor kid have to save up for another few months to replace it...

Thanks again to everyone who came/helped/shopped.

-Jon
