new sea horse

Hey guys wondering what everyone else feeds their sea horses. Mine is 3 1/2 inches.

I don't have mine any more, But when I had them I fed them frozen mysis

Where did you buy yours as I plan on setting one up?

Some seahorses will only take live pods , is that right? But can be "trained" to take frozen

If they are captive bred, they will be eating frozen. in less they are dwarfs, in which case they will never eat frozen.I don't know any breeders in the US that will sell seahorses that are not eating frozen. Ask where ever you plan to get them to show you them eating

All 8 of mine eat frozen Mysis. They are H.Erectus.

As far as where did I purchase them.. Six are from Petco and the other two were purchased from Archit at LoveTheReef
