New smell: so nice, you have to try it

Last night I was feeding the fish, and decided to give the serpent star a treat.
I put some frozen octopus in a cup of tank water to thaw.
Then I promptly forgot about feeding the serpent star.
Today I walked into the fish room / pantry and was greeted with the sweetest aroma.

Yeah, Karen is fond of feeding the fish half now, and half "later". The next day, it's still not later. But the combination of a closed room and something like octopus would definitely turn a few heads.
